You may or may not have noticed that I haven't posted any blogs for a while. This is down to two things. I have recently been away with my family for a much needed holiday and secondly, I've been very very busy!! August was a manic month for me with wedding season in full swing. I have plenty of blogs lined up for future posting, starting with Maggie and Mike's lovely wedding.

I'm sure most, if not all brides hope for good weather on their wedding day and Maggie was no exception. Well, from 1pm till I left Hallsannery at about 8pm it rained. No, actually it poured. A lot. Still, Maggie and Mike didn't let it dampen their spirits one bit.

St John The Baptist Church was their chosen venue for the ceremony and the guests soon took their seats to await Maggie's arrival.

After the ceremony we all drove the short distance to Hallsannery Manor House, just outside Bideford. What a lovely venue! Maggie and Mike hired a marquee which was attached to the building and completely transparent, quite unique! Due to the heavy rain we did the formal photos indoors, but no worries, as the rooms and decor were all very grand and made a good backdrop for the photos.

I really enjoyed the day despite the weather and I think Maggie, Mike and all their guests did too. I wish Maggie and Mike all the best in their newly married life together.
