My Top 5 North Devon Wedding Venues

North Devon has some amazing venues for weddings. Whether your looking for romance by the sea or a beautiful countryside setting for your special day, North Devon has it all.

Here is a list (in no particular order) of five of the best North Devon wedding venues and some of my photos from weddings I've shot at these venues.

Ocean Kave

Ocean Kave is a unique venue to host a wedding, with the setting amidst the rolling hills and coastal moorland of Westward Ho!. There is a stunning view of the ocean from the Kave, where you can catch the sun setting at the end of your romantic day! In 2014 Ocean Kave are opening a new reception venue next to the Kave called the Sunset Rooms. I'm shooting a couple of weddings there early next year and can't wait to see the new set up!

Tunnels Beaches

Another North Devon wedding venue by the sea, Tunnels Beaches in Ilfracombe is a stunning setting for a wedding. The modern building built into the rocks over looking the sea and it's two private beaches make Tunnels a very popular venue for weddings. During the wedding season they often get fully booked and hold 7 weddings per week! Needless to say, the weddings I've shot here have offered me many unique opportunities for stunning photos of the bride and groom.

Hallsannery

Hallsannery is an elegant country house set in beautiful surroundings about 1 mile from Bideford. Many of their large rooms are licensed to hold a wedding ceremony. There is also a lovely swirling staircase as it's centre piece, a great choice for a wedding venue and so many great photo opportunities.

Northcote Manor

You can have your wedding ceremony at Northcote Manor indoors or outside, depending on the weather! Either way it is a beautiful venue for a wedding. Set deep in the heart of the North Devon countryside near Umberleigh, the grounds have some amazing views over the sweeping countryside, perfect for photos!

High Bullen Hotel Golf & Country Club

This venue is a magnificent country manor set in 125 acres of parkland above the Mole and Taw valleys. Like Northcote Manor above, you can have your ceremony indoors or out. The manor house has some stunning rooms and the food here is amazing! All in all a stunning venue for a wedding,
