Danielle & Richard wedding at Woolhanger Manor
Here is one of my favourite weddings I just didn't get around to blogging from last year. Danielle and Richard at Woolhanger Manor.
When couples book a wedding in the month of July they tend to hope the weather will be fine. After all, it is the middle of summer right? Well this is the UK so, not really! It rained all day, but to their credit it didn't really bother Danielle and Richard and so it shouldn't have. They and their guests still had a great day.
I started my day at Danielle's house in Bideford for her bridal prep where I found her in typical bride-to-be excitement mode. I waited until she got into her magnificent dress before I headed up the road to Fremington church for the ceremony where groom Richard was waiting.
Then it was onto Woolhanger Manor. It was my first time shooting at Woolhanger and I hope it isn't my last. It's a lovely venue, even in the rain! There's lots of outside space and the main music hall is just stunning with it's pipe organ centre piece. Definitely one of the best reception rooms I've ever seen in North Devon. I waited for a break in the rain and quickly whisked Danielle and Richard outside for a few bride and groom photos before the rain came back again with a vengeance.
Danielle and Richard were such a lovely couple and it was a real pleasure capturing their special day!
