Claire & Martin wedding at Beaconside House

Yes I'm still here, I haven't fallen off the edge of the earth, although to some it might seem that way. On the contrary, in the past month I have been away on holiday, moved house, shot 6 weddings, 2 pre wedding shoots (including 1 in London) and 1 family lifestyle session!! Now its time to start blogging some weddings. Here is a delightful wedding from Beaconside House a few months ago, my first time shooting there too. What a lovely venue, I hope to shoot there again sometime.

The weather certainly wasn't kind. Just as Claire was about to leave her bridal preparation and go meet Martin for the outdoor wedding ceremony, the heavens opened. Myself and all the guests took cover. But that didn't stop the fun mood for the rest of the day. As a documentary wedding photographer, I am constantly on the lookout for interesting photo moments to capture throughout the day, especially interaction between people, photos that tell a story. This wedding was day was filled with so many great moments, it almost made my head spin!

Claire and Martin were the perfect couple to capture at a wedding, full of expression and character, an absolute joy to shoot.
