The day started with Jodie's bridal preparations at her Mother's house in Barnstaple. Thankfully the weather was fantastic all day as the ceremony at High Bullen Golf & Country Club in Chittlehamholt, near Umberleigh was taking place outdoors.

The ceremony was on the lawn by the side of the Country House with lovely views of rolling hills, quite a setting for a wedding. The sun was beaming down on us all and very hot it was too, I thought I was going to melt!

After the wonderful ceremony, we all got in our cars and travelled a few miles West towards Dolton and Steve's parent's farm, where the post wedding festivities were being held.

Later that evening we were blessed with one of the finest sunsets I've seen for a while, which rounded off a very special day.

Steve and Jodie are a lovely couple and were a joy to photograph and I wish them all the luck in their married life together. I remember back in March when I shot their engagement session how relaxed and laid back they were, knowing they would be a fun couple to shoot on the day. Needless to say they were and it was a real honour to capture their special day.
