Louise & Charlotte, wedding at Ocean Kave
It's that time of year again for most wedding photographers. All the years weddings have been captured and all the photos have been delivered to the happy newlyweds.
For me, it's a good time to catch up on blogging some weddings! So to start we are looking back to sunnier and warmer times for Louise and Charlottes special day at Ocean Kave. This was the first of two same sex weddings I shot in North Devon this year and what a day it was!
One of the advantages of capturing a wedding at Ocean Kave is the couple normally get ready in one of the many on site cottages, which means I get to cover them both photography wise. In fact Louise and Charlotte were staying in opposite cottages so when I went between the two, I had to make sure the coast was clear to open the doors so they wouldn't see each other!
Louise and Charlotte decided to come down the aisle together, which meant they had a quick reveal together outside the Kave before entering which was a lovely moment. They both looked stunning as they entered the Kave to their awaiting guests and came outside after the ceremony to a wonderful bright sunny day. Ocean Kave also set up their lawn games for guests to revel in the sun before heading into the Sunset Rooms for the speeches and wedding breakfast.
Louise and Charlotte decided to have their photos on the beach, so we headed down along with their bridesmaids for some lovely sunset shots. Then it was back to the Kave to capture some dancing shots.
I really enjoyed shooting this wedding. Louise and Charlotte were incredibly chilled and there was always so much going on throughout the whole day I hardly put my cameras down!
